I have a large 3yr old Yorkie who needs a calm and stress free environment. I adopted Loopy from the Richmond City Shelter and did not realize that the breed was this headstrong and demanding of all attention. The reason I'm looking for a home for Loopy is, he has nipped at me. I'm not willing to accept this type of behavior, even though he did it because he did not want to do what I wanted (get off of the couch). He does not like to share my affection or attention with any other animals. I have a 12yr old Chihuahua and a 2yr old Pug who are just terrified to even get near me for fear of Loopy retaliating. I did speak with the shelter and they stated they would take him back, but he would not be adoptable. I believe he does deserve a chance. He is extremely smart and can be soooo loving that it just makes you melt. He is up to date on all his shots including his rabies. Loopy is neutered and microchiped as well as heartworm negative. He needs someone who has experience with this breed as well as NO PETS & NO CHILDREN! He loves my children, but he does get a little nervous when they get too loud. If you think that you could provide a forever home for Loopy, then please contact me. I will be selective when it comes to his new family due to all the life changing events he has already had to suffer through. Again thank you for your support and care in helping Loopy have a second chance at life.
